The MyWOS platform resides on Discord
The connective and interactive functionality of MyWOS is made possible by Discord, an app and website. You may be familiar with Discord if you have a gaming background. The developers of the app sought to solve a big problem: how to communicate with friends around the world while playing games online. Passionate early users of Discord soon realized that the app could also be enjoyed for other purposes such as hiking clubs, art communities, and study groups.
Discord hosts the MyWOS platform, which resides as a server on Discord. Users can access the MyWOS platform through Discord on the Android, iOS, Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems, as well as through web browsers.

Initiating the MyWOS platform
Follow the steps below start using the MyWOS platform:
Step 1: Install Discord
Download, install, and run the Discord app onto your chosen smartphone, tablet or computer using the following link:

Step 2: Register with Discord
Start the Discord app and register as a user.

Step 3: Join the MyWOS Community
Request an invitation from MyWOS by clicking the following link:
https://discord.com/invite/mywos
Click on “Accept Invite” to accept the invitation and join the MyWOS community.
If you are already a member of MyWOS, click on “Nevermind” to open the MyWOS platform.

The accompanying images show the top and bottom sections of the MyWOS platform as viewed in the smartphone interface of Discord. The categories and menu items in MyWOS will change over time as the platform evolves and acquires new features.

The interface provides easy access to shared experiences, text threads, real-time chat channels, video series on key books and topics from the Old and New Testaments, training on how to start Bible Clusters, and podcasts.
MyWOS will also host online seminars for any enrolled leader-believers on topics of general interest. Leader-believers can also become part of mentoring circles that meet regularly online to share and grow together as they reach out to their friends.
