External Resources

Bible resources for encountering the heart of God.

The MyWOS platform can only address some of the needs that young leader-believers might have as they walk their path with the Lord. As we vet other resources for learning about God and His plan as recorded in the Bible, we will add them to the list below. The links below open in new tabs of your web browser.

BibleProject is a nonprofit ed-tech organization and animation studio that produces 100% free Bible videos, podcasts, blogs, classes, and educational Bible resources to help make the biblical story accessible to everyone, everywhere. (https://bibleproject.com)

Bible Journey’s mission is to raise up a generation of global disciples who can understand, interpret and teach the Bible. As we move into the future, we anticipate engaging over one million people in Bible Journey and certifying over 100,000 church leaders globally. We work closely with nearly one hundred churches, ministries and organizations to provide the “next thing” in Bible study to those who promote Scripture engagement. This vision comes with a profound sense of gratitude for being called alongside many other ministries to get God’s Word into the hands of his people around the world. (https://biblejourney.com)

Journey Groups

A Journey Group is a small group that meets once a week either in person or online to share a journey of growth in the freedom and identity found in Christ. Participants become better rooted in relational skills, maturity, and their walk by the Spirit. They create connection and community in a way that cultivates a deeper walk with God.

In the following video, MyWOS team members Dana and Pam Bryan recount how a Journey Group experience helped shape their lives.

Some key points about Journey Groups:

  • Live in greater intimacy with Jesus and love for those around you

  • Identify and build out areas with underdeveloped maturity skills

  • Learn how to live life better in community

  • One-hour weekly meetings led by a trained facilitator

  • Groups of about 8 or 9 participants, meeting in person or online

  • Made up of 6 units with about 7 lessons each
